Developed by Chung Jin Biotech, the first Korean-made artificial inseminator for honeybees extracts sperm from drones and artificially inseminates the queen. The machine is used as follows: confine a queen bee for insemination in a plastic tube and drug her with carbon-dioxide, then using a special syringe, extract sperm from coupling drones, inject the sperm into the queen, and the process is complete.
